Workshop on Dec. 1 will help students find a summer internship

Although summer 2016 may seem distant, it’s not too early for OHIO students to start planning for learning experiences during the warmer months. On Tuesday, Dec. 1, Ohio University will offer a workshop on finding and applying for summer internships, open to all Ohio University students.

Internship programs for disciplines ranging from journalism to biological sciences are already accepting applications from college students seeking hands-on learning opportunities that could help them prepare for graduate school and careers. The workshop, offered by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Creative Activity, will guide students through the process of getting an internship that aligns with their interests.

The workshop will be offered from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Baker 239 and again from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Clippinger 332. Pizza will be provided at both workshops.

RSVP to male-bru@ohio.edu.
