Attention Voinovich Scholars, MSES & MPA Students!
Has your instructor, advisor or supervisor encouraged you (or required you) to participate in the OHIO Student Expo? Not sure how that works or need some additional guidance? This session is for you.
The Voinovich School invites you to
Prepare for the Student Expo!
Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in Baker Center Room 230 (free pizza too!)
RSVP to Bethany by Friday, Feb. 19 @ email@example.com is encouraged.
Faculty and staff from CE3 and the Voinovich School’s Environmental Studies Program will be on hand to discuss:
· What makes an engaging topic?
· How do I create a great poster?
· What does a strong presentation include?
· Why should I do this? (Hint: GVS $$ prizes, fame, glory, etc.!)
Students should come prepared with an idea (based on their Voinovich School work experience or research topic) written up in a few sentences for discussion. We’ll also provide information on how to print your poster (printing cost covered by GVS!), timelines, etc. (MSES contact: Cheryl Hanzel firstname.lastname@example.org; Scholars and MPA contact: Holly Craycraft email@example.com). A second session, building on this information, will be held in a few weeks.
The deadline to register for the 2016 Student Research and Creative Activity Expo is Feb. 28!
Contact Elissa Welch at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
