Moving Innovation to Commercialization

Take your entrepreneurship skills to the next level by enrolling in the upcoming course, “Moving Innovation to Commercialization,” offered by the Center for Entrepreneurship.

This four-week course is designed to help student, faculty and staff entrepreneurs learn commercial and enterprise considerations, as well as how to balance the academic and entrepreneurship roles. Each week is broken into two- or four-hour modules covering different topics. Discussions include the entrepreneurship and commercialization ecosystem at Ohio University, role of consultancy and consulting projects, and research project management.

Courses will begin Tuesday, September 13, and will continue for the three subsequent Tuesdays. The first session will be from 3 – 7 p.m. at Grover W305. All other sessions will be from 4 – 6 p.m. in Grover W305.

This is a fantastic opportunity for researchers at any level or status to hear from speakers from within and outside of the University. The cost is free to all OHIO affiliated students, faculty, and staff. A one-time fee of $400 will be charged to non-OHIO participants.

You can register for the course here.

Take advantage of this opportunity offered by the Center for Entrepreneurship, a partnership between the College of Business and Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, and grow as a leader in entrepreneurship.
